Please Help Me To Raise Money For Koda's Surgery!!!

Koda was diagnosed with cancer yesterday.

He is a seven year old siberian husky mix who I have had since he was three months old. He is still very youthful and loves to run and play.

Last week we noticed a large bump under his eye and found out after testing that it is a soft tissue tumor. They said things look good for him and it's no where else in his body. By removing this tumor he can have a full life free of cancer and could be fine for another five years. Tomorrow he has to have xrays and a catscan to be 100% certain that there is no chance it could be anywhere else in his body, although they saif the chances are very slim. Tomorrow's testing will dictate whether we need to operate and or do radiation. The operation will be $3,000-$4,000 and after tomorrow's $1,700 bill, I will be left with a small percentage of this money. If he needs radiation in addition, it will be a lot more but they think it is stage one therfore can be easily removed. I will know the exact estimates tomorrow however even for surgery alone, I do not have the money.

They then ask for an email address of the person you are sending, mine is mden08@yahoo.com. Paypal is very secure, I have used them for years. They will not charge you for anything else after and this will be a one time payment. They will not charge you for donating, they will take that from my end however it is a small percentage. I have a paypal debit card so can easily access funds right away. They want to do surgery next week so I don't have long to raise the funds. If he is not treated, he will have to be put to sleep and he has too much life ahead of him to have that happen. Please help us, if you can. Any amount helps! Don't worry about the funds being wasted if I don't raise enough, because I will raise it and am trying many other avenues so if you can contribute anything at all, please do.

I worked for several years at a wildlife refuge in Massachusetts, before we moved to California so I am hoping some of the good energy I put towards helping other animals, will now come back to helping Koda. He doesn't deserve to not have a chance because I can't afford this life saving operation. I work full-time and am a full-time college student and just don't have several thousand extra dollars sitting around, nor do I have credit that will permit me to obtain a card to pay for the surgery. Your help is appreciated, because he deserves a chance and has a long life ahead of him. They expect this treatment to be the only treatment he will have to have. If they didn't think he would have many years left with a good condition of life, I would not bother because I don't want my dog to suffer but he is healthy and his chances are great. The vet said if you are goign to get a tumor, this is the best kind to have because the chances of it spreading elsewhere are very slim.
